TM dominated the game from the start with some fine passing moves and put the opposition defence and goalkeeper under much pressure. The ball flashed past the face of the goal on many occasions after fine running moves from Louis, Charlie and Luke. Only a lack of composure in front of goal and some good saves from Sheen’s keeper prevented the score from being 3 or 4 at half-time. It was a surprise that score-line was only 1-0 to TM at half-time. The goal was scored by Charlie after some strong running. TM came out in the second half looking more composed on the ball and upped the level of their passing and general play. They broke quickly with some fine running from Louis and Charlie, who took on the Sheen defence with success, and were able to score individual goals as well as set up others for tap-ins. Chin and Tommy were strong in defence and were able to cope with any Sheen move, and Bradley held his position well in midfield at the hub of the team laying off some good passes. Luke scored a fine goal after a darting run through the middle, and Owen finished off the opportunities that were presented to him. In summary it was a good team performance with some fine individual displays, which showed how much the team has advanced over the season. Their strong post-Xmas run will be reflected in a good league position.
